We were out shooting some Pistol Sunday. This quote came to mind....

Hornets/Wasps were buzzing the hell out of us. I found a mesquite bush/shrub thingy with a dozen of them hanging out and crawling on the branches.

I put my gloves on and placed a pound of tannerite right by the hornets. BOOM! Blew the whole thing to bits. Busted branches and bark stripped off of them. No more hornets... beautiful

I would rather mess with 3 snakes than 1 wasp.
Years ago some buddies and I were going up the river in a boat to shoot guns when we saw a huge "red wasp" nest on a tree limb just above the water. So, we pulled our 12 gauges out loaded with birdshot and divided the nest into quarters. We drifted to about 12-15 feet of the nest, and on the count of 3, we all fired at our quarter of the nest.

There wasn't a piece of wasp or nest left, completely obliterated.
Wish I could get rid of them from under the eaves of my house that way...

I know... I was shooting with my dingy woman... We hadn't gone out to shoot together in a while. After the explosion she decides she should have filmed it on her smart phone.

I love this. The best part is he appears to be right int he middle of a densely populated neighborhood. No idea how the fire dept, police dept & SWAT team weren't called on him these days.
