forgive me if it's been discussed before but what would be the limitations of the Enhanced vs the Bravo. I know about the storage but any other issues???

the Bravo is just a KISS version of the Enhanced, so no storage & lighter weight

I know. it's also cheaper and possibly shorter. I was asking, basically, what the operational difference is. does anybody feel one excels over the other for certain uses?

sorry I cant help much then.
I use the Enhanced and only handled the Bravo.
the weight of the Enhanced helps with the balance of my carbine due to the 16'' Hbar

I just recieved a B5 Bravo from BCM. The stock fits the tube very well, snug with no side to side play. The shorter length allows the stock to fully close when using a sling mount that clamps over the castle nut.

I have multiple examples of B5 Enhanced and Bravo versions. They are very similar but I prefer the Bravo, here's why:

First, the cheek piece is slightly smaller (less pronounced) than the Enhanced. I find that my eye settles in slightly faster when using an Aimpoint. But it still gives me a much more solid cheekweld than the CTR and M4 stocks that i used in the past. The flip side is I prefer the larger Enhanced stock on my Mk12 as it gives more surface area for my face when running a magnified optic.

Second, it is lighter. I take the battery tubes out of my Enhanced as I don't use them. So the Bravo removes extra material that I don't use anyway. I also don't miss the extra inch or so of stock length.

Third, the Bravo has an angled buttpad which is an improvement over the straight Enhanced buttpad. I find that the angled Bravo stock rolls up into the shoulder better.

Fourth, the Bravo is almost half the price of the Enhanced. I would be happy to trade the three enhanced versions I have for five Bravo versions.

My bravo is one of the loosest stocks I've ever had on any of my buffer tubes, rattles pretty bad. Oh well.

I've had the opposite experience. My Bravo version fit very tight on my A5 and standard milspec extensions. After I paint the extensions, I have to apply a moderate amount of force to side them back and forth.

Outstanding! thanks, exactly the type of info I was looking for.

I have a Bravo on my "bump in the night gun" and like it a lot. all the things you say are true. I was considering the enhanced to replace a VLTOR Emod on my "recce"and you answered my questions...
