There should still be some FDE floating around out there, a lot got shipped the last week and a half; more will be going out soon.

Follow up on our phone call.

After an hour of heating / sliding the stock on and off the DD extension, it fits perfect and doesn't require two people to remove. Just needed to get "broken in"

    +1 satisfied customer!

Just so everyone knows the DD receiver extension in question is out of spec, ie it is larger than milspec. You should not have use a hair dryer, sand, or file to get your stock to fit. If there is an issue on our side we will take care of you, if there is an issue with someone else we'll still do our best to resolve it.

Correct. People need to realize that every part in the M16/M4 family has a RANGE that is allowed (per the TDP). While most manufacturers shoot for the middle, you can also get some that are at one end or the other.

Correct Grant, and because of the specs we make our stocks we on rare occasion run into an issue of tolerance stacking. We more often run into people putting the stock on an out of spec or commercial receiver extension.

I have a Bravo stock that fit my Colt, BCM and Vltor receiver extension perfect but would not fit my Daniel Defense receiver extension without a mallet. Unfortunately I bought the Brave for the Daniel Defense so after some filing I got it to fit. I think the problem lies with Daniel Defense receiver extensions being on the large side of specs or out of spec.

Just curious, did you mic your receiver extension as well? I've seen like 3 different sizes now with DD. I emailed their customer support twice now and haven't heard back.
