(NEVER go into the woods or swimming in the ocean if you are the slowest runner/swimmer of the group)

If Brownells sells ammo by the case and rise in machete sales then more power to them. (they are the first to remind that if your going to "stock up" don't forget cleaning supplies!!)
Yes, and while you are hunkered down in your basement waiting for the die off, isn't it a great time to learn gunsmithing, reload all those empty cases, and unlimited CASE PREP time for those 600 yd head shots. If I didn't already have all that gear, I would definitely want it to keep my busy during the Zombie full moon event.

Somebody is going to host a Zombie shoot and I bet it will be pretty dang popular.
USSA in Tulsa, Ok. is hosting one. Saw it publicized earlier today.

I laughed at SteyrAUG's post, but in reality, it kind of scares the shit out of me. Honestly, I can imagine someone taking this crap too seriously and some kid ends up getting capped in the face by some crazy trick-or-treating. I can just see the news spread on Nov 1.

Honestly, if somebody is motivated to take action by a post starting with "Zombiologists have concluded..." then they are just as likely to be motivated into action by the teletubbies or a can of cat food at the grocery store. If a person has that in them, it's really just a matter of time, the trigger is almost irrelevant and will manifest itself in one way or another sooner or later. You really can't apply logic and reason to preventing crazy.

I got this link in brownell's email. I've never "got" the whole Zombie thing.

I guess it's a humorous way to justify spending money on tactical gun stuff and absurd amounts of ammo?

Fantasies of surviving the zombie apocalypse is just modern Walther Mittyism.
