Surefire X300.. is it worth buying?

Is surefire X300 any good and worth buying? I'm gonna mount it on my Springfield 1911 MC Operator. right now I have a Streamlight TLR-1 that I originally bought for my Sig P226. but my Sig is gone. I have nothing against the TLR-1 but I don't like it on my MC Operator. I really like how the X300 looks on 1911s. I can get one for $229 at my local gun store. is it worth the money? let me know. thanks.

    Yes.

Call Kevin at Brightflashlights for possibly a better price.

Hey can you mount that x300 on your USP too? I just looked it up it looks like it would go on a rail for an Ar too. If so that would be cool. Did you pick this light up yet? I literally was trying to find a nice versatile light that I could use that wouldn't cost me more then 400 and I found this post. Awesome!

Yes they are worth it. I carried TLR's for several years before trying out a X300 last year. I've now sold all of my TLR's and have only X300's for my pistols.

The USP requires an adapter, Surefire sells them along with other companies.

It will also mount to rails on rifles, just have to change out the mount on the light with the one included in the box.

It was worth it to me enough to buy two of them. One of which was a direct replacement for a previous X200 that I felt equally well about running.

When the Mini X 300 finally gets released I'm sure I'll feel the same about it. At least sure enough to keep waiting.

It's the best pistol light available, hands down.

I agree that the SF X300 is top shelf, but brightflashlights.com does not sell them.
