The handgun I carry most of the time is the Glock 22 with the x300 and a Leupold Deltapoint (my eyes are not what they used to be). With the Raven holster, it is very sturdy, very solid. I do carry in the 2o'clock to 3o'clock position. A Raven magazine carrier with rounds pointed forward is carried in the 9 to 10 o'clock position.

Part of the stability, however, is due to the fact that I also use a Galco 1.75" belt.

Do not skimp on the belt. A regular dress belt would not be sufficient for my type of carry.

I have no concerns about the setup even with such a large gun.

I personally can't justify spending twice as much as a TLR. I'd love to have a x300 but my TLR works just fine for what I need it for. I'm interested to see what 4sevens comes up with for a pistol light, heard a rumor they were working on one.

    Is this it, one?

If so, I'm not too impressed.

The current name is X300 Compact, but that could change before it enters production. It is a single cell weapon light that is slimmer, though likely not much shorter then the X300. The specs from 2011 SHOT were basically the same as a E1B in fact the head looks like it is from an E1B, though it is single mode.

I talked with Surefire today about an issue with a DG switch, and I asked about the compact, they said it likely won't be released this year.

Yeah that's it. I have an E1B and I'm impressed with it. I would prefer that they make another adapter to fit the X 300 (existing) to the 45C's shorter rail. But that's probably not going to happen.

So, if the compact works. I'll accept it before one of those miniature insights that I see reports and pictures of breakage on.

If I remember correctly that's just a prototype and not what the final version will be.
