Lest we go off the rails with the current canard (popularized by Limbaugh, no less) that President Obama unilaterally dispatched American special forces to aid muslim forces in killing christians in Uganda, let's get the facts straight.
Senate Bill 1067, the Lord's Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act of 2009, was introduced in May of 2009, passed the Senate by unanimous consent in March of 2010, passed in the House two days later by voice vote with no record of individual votes taken, and was signed into law by the President on March 24, 2010.
The LRA, despite their claims of christian ideology, are some serious low-life mother****ers. They've engaged in a laundry list of crimes against the Ugandan people, including kidnapping, murder, rape, sex trafficking of children, forced slave labor, etc., etc, etc. (

Feel free to support or oppose the intervention. But let's not misrepresent the facts and play the religion card in an attempt to vilify Obama.
If the LRA are the best christians Uganda has to offer, I say bring on the lions.
