Please help me pick out a good sight for my suppressed 22LR

I am looking for a nice scope/sight to go on my new bolt action 22lr (suppressed). 30mm tube would be a HUGE plus as I already have an AD scope mount for it.

Price range would be around $200-$300 as it is just a .22lr and I am looking to plink with it. Maybe I should just get a used Aimpoint Pro possibly? Let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you!

I have a Leupold European 30 3-9X on my TacSol 22LR (10/22 clone). 30MM tube and the glass is more than good enough for a 22LR.

Probably a little more than your budget but worth looking at.

With that budget you will be more than happy with a nice Mueller APV 4-12x40mm for around $115. Its a 1" tube but at that price it will leave you plenty of extra cash for new mounts.

Doesn't make my CZ452 too heavy. Some folks prefer no more than 4x on .22's, however the rifles are capable of so much more. Mine will make empty rimfire brass dance all day long at 75yds.....can't do that with 4x

This is a very good point. I have heard from people using the Mueller illuminated scopes and they have all pretty much been very favorable to the brand... especially at the price point.

Do you happen to know if Mueller makes a variable power illuminated reticle scope? I have found this one on their website that is coming out next month. http://muelleroptics.com/category/pr...varmint-scopes

But it is 4x power and looks to be 4MOA which is not very favorable to precision shooting I would not imagine.

Those are not variable though are they? I was thinking that plinking is the #1 mission for this firearm... pest control #2... and whatever else #3. Variable would be a huge benefit as you had pointed out. You have to forgive my limited understanding of current rifle scopes. The only scope I presently own is a Mark-4 which I will probably be swapping out for a S&B or possibly a NF.

Yes, one is variable from 3x to 9x and the other from 3x to 10x.

Like that Savage! Where'd you get it?
