Surf beat me to it, but I was gonna say that BCM seems to have a better grasp on gasport sizing on their barrels than Daniel Defense does. I had a DD 16" middy that had to go back. Wouldnt cycle anything reliably. To be clear, it was one of their first run of 16" middys a few years back. They replaced it with a newer hammer forged 16" middy, but I ended up getting a BCM HF 16" middy to replace it with in the meantime. The BCM ran like it should.

When I do my part on the BCM (not BHF)
1 moa with brown box federal is common for me @100yds

the noveske can sometimes, rarely but it happens with match grade, get under 1 moa (it's pretty sexy to see those rounds touching, + puts a big stupid smile on your face) This lil noveske seems to like the Fiocchi (match) a lot btw

results can be replicated from 50-150 yards
200+ yards I have a harder time keeping those groups at 1" but every now and then when I do everything right I get those groups. But that means my ass is on the ground, prone, and I shoot about 5 rounds in 60-90 seconds.

I have yet to reach the point in skill where I can achieve the same results at 300 yds
YOU MUST KNOW THE REALITY NOT THE COMMON KNOWLEDGE FOR THEY (THE JURY) DO NOT BEAR THE HIGHER STANDARD OF CARE

I recently purchased a 14.5" Bravo Co CHF barreled upper (or BFH in Bravo Co terms) and it's very accurate and an all around great shooter. I've shot a few DD rifles but never accuracy tested them so I can't compare in those terms.

The BCM is more accurate than both of my SR15's. It's also more accurate than most other chf barrels I own or have owned. Keep in mind though, I rarely shoot for tight groups. Even when shooting at longer distances, I'm more concerned about specific hits than I am the group itself.

Here's the first time I shot my BCM past 25 yards and also the first time I shot for accuracy. I wrote 100 yards but it was actually closer to 85. This was with xm193.

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe

Hey JC take it easy on those SR-15s I had the barrel crown touched up on a barrel/bolt/upper I got from a member here and it helped the accuracy...

Most excellent barrel. From personal experience, their CHF barrel is equal to the Noveske N4. And always in stock.

My SR15's were so inaccurate that I had to pull the barrel on my last one and sell it to some dude way up North!

In defense of the SR15's, and this goes for both of the ones I owned, I couldn't group xm193 like I can with the 14.5", but once I fed it 272 or TAP 75gr, it really tightened up. One thing I noticed was the crown on the SR15 barrels wasn't anything to write home about, and this goes for both as well.

A guy I know had a SCAR H barrel cut to 13" and it came back with a better crown as well. It tightened up quite a bit with all ammo from what he said. So, I'd imagine that plays a bigger part than I would have though considering the flash hider in front of it.

archad, my email is acting funny all week... If you tried emailing, PM me instead and I'll email when it's back up.
