Prepared to Be Occupied

What specific steps have you taken in light of the way some of these "Occupy <Insert Name Here> have taken?

All I have done in ensure Im stocked up well on food, water, and gasoline and just avoided downtown Pittsburgh where I live.

Just avoid them but I try to avoid all of Austin anyways. I don't think they are a threat to anything outside of their immediate areas like breaking store windows and vandalism.

The best answer is to stay far away from the protests. If I happened to live in a condo/apartment in one of the areas where an "occupy" protest was starting, I would pack up and leave by day 2.
Nothing good can come staying around. The left-wing media is encouraging the whole thing in hopes that it produces sensational news stories. Even if you are in the right, they will report you as in the wrong.
However, if someone shoots a window-smashing hippie in the face, I wont lose any sleep.

The Occupy crowd are just like folks that ride jet ski's: they require an audience. Avoid the main intersection in town and you'll be fine.
