I read on another forum where Hornady has done away with the crimped primers on the 8146 and is now calling it "match" ammo. Does this change its preferred status as a suitable LE or Military ammo?

I spoke with Hornady on the phone and they claimed that these primers are crimped. I got a hold of some this ammo how do I know if it is crimped (what do I need to look for)?
Look for a small indented ring around the primer.

The "match" 8146 I bought is not crimped. I am pretty ticked off because I bought 1000 rounds.
