    300 Blackout Picture Thread

Mods, I hope its ok to make this thread. If not please delete.

Thought we could get a 300 Blackout picture thread going. Theres over 20 different threads on the 300 blk and Im tired of looking through all the threads just to find pictures of 300 blk builds. I think this round is going to be huge in the future and I cant wait to see what setups other manufacturers come up with in the future, ecspecially the VSBRs!

So post em up if you got em!

I think a thread dedicated to 300BLK is totally appropriate- the growth in popularity of this round has been fantastic and I jumped on the bandwagon...

It's the one in the middle with no sights, I threw an old ACOG on it for now, trying to decide what optic to use for real.

Thats exactly the way I feel. I believe the 300blk will blow all of the other varient calibers out of the water in terms on popularity and performance; hence this thread.

What build is the rifle in the middle? AAC 9"?

I agree, judging from the relatively rapid acceptance by major manufacturers, I think there will be a huge following of this round.

This has been posted before, but here's mine...

KAC special run upper/rail, Noveske 12" worked over by Marvin.

Yep, 9" AAC complete upper. I'm trying to decide between either a 12" Rogue Hunter or 14.5" Rogue Hunter for my next. Although I'm tempted to get the matching AAC 12.5" complete upper.

I just took the "BLKOUT" plunge...

Have this set-up as a intrum SPR rifle.

I looked at ammo for the 77g. 5.56, 6.8, and 300Blk...not really much difference from each other...so the 300 sparked my interest the most.

I had a few questions that maybe you would all answer for me:

what on the 5.56 platform can I "NOT" use...i.e. mags, sights, bolt...?

for an SPR application, do I need a optic that is for a 7.62 spec's?

can I use the 7.62 size surpressors?

looking forward to finishing the system. I will post pics

You can use everything from a 5.56 system except the barrel. Bolt, bolt carrier, magazines, everything. The barrel and perhaps the gas block are all that is different/non interchangable.

The ballistics don't match 7.62x51, so I don't see how using a 7.62 reticle will help any.

Yes, the suppressor must be a .30 caliber suppressor or bigger.
Why do the loudest do the least?
