That makes sense. The guy I was quoting has also said some other boneheaded stuff so I automatically question folks like that.

Getting a 16" pencil barrel, and lighter rail system alone will get you to where you want to be faster than getting barrels clipped and pinned.

You have a mono rail, an M4 profile barrel, and hulking eotech, a VFG, bulky stock, and chunky light mount. Then there is that redi-mag.

    Transfer spare mag to belt
    6720 upper
    light weight drop in rail
    KISS VLTOR light mount
    T1 or EXPS

Done. No steroids needed. No re-inventing the wheel.
This forum always amazes me. The simplest threads run just shy of 10 pages in a few days, but when SMEs post about new products they are field testing it barely gets two replies.

Another example is that "How do I remove my AAC Flashhider mount from my Noveske" thread.
Why do the loudest do the least?

Here's a thread for you to read Simba Lee - https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...ght=plum+crazy

ETA - funny enough, that's one of the threads that a user gave you not two months ago......in your very own thread involving your DPMS/Plum Crazy rifle. I guess you didn't even bother to read it.
I read the thread and remember that the OP said his PC lower worked just fine, just like mine did. I traded mine off after about 500 rds (along with the DPMS upper), but not because anything was wrong with either, but because I bought a PSA Patrol Carbine/AimPoint PRO $999 pkg and didn't need it any more.

But....I suspect that if overly abused, like some might, the PC probably isn't as strong as the PSA. But it is lighter, which was the question presented by the OP of this thread.

OK, let me see if I understand what you are saying...

You bought one of the worst firearms on the planet (DPMS upper receiver, Plum Crazy lower receiver,) put 500 rounds through it, and now you are recommending that??

You hardly broke the thing in, and with any serious use, that weapon wouldn't have stood up well at all.

In the future, you might want to consider that some people actually run their weapons fairly hard, and a cobbled together piece of junk isn't going to cut it before recommending something of such dubious quality.

You have been given options now you must decide. This is being closed before it continues to spiral out of control.
