Krylon Fusion works well. Some nylon takes it better than others.

Agreed. They're very flat and drab, just what you want in camo colors.

    Krylon Camo

The Rust-Oleum camo is GTG as well. I actually like it more than the Krylon, since it seems to go on more evenly and doesn't have that classic, brain-damaging spraypaint smell that Krylon does.

The Aervoe camo spraypaint ( available at Brownell's) is great, too. It's a bit pricey though as spraypaint goes.

Another option is the Testors Model Master Military colors. They're even more expensive, but if you only need a little they do offer some unique colors.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info guys. How do you think the brown or Khaki in the Krylon Camo would work on black gear?

    What about dyeing it?

    Tiger-
    Many thanks for the links.

Used the Krylon camo tan on a black Bianchi mag pouch. Not beautiful, but it worked. Let me know if you want a pic.

I've painted tons of black gear. Do your first 2 coats in tan, then use the browns and everything else.

Krylon over black on both a Bianchi nylon mag pouch and a Safariland 6004. That is Tac Tailors' tan for color reference.
