    AK Optic Mounts

Does anybody make an AK optics mount with reasonable return to zero? I know the standard AK receiver side mount doesn't do this very well. I've noticed their are several options available for handguard mounting, but I prefer my Aimpoint/Eotech to be mounted farther back on the weapon.

How about the Polish Beryl receiver cover optics mount?

Does anybody make an aftermarket version?

How about Finnish Valmet style rear sights?

The Valmet and Galil rear sights worked because the take down tab on the recoil spring guide was oversized and helped keep the dust cover from moving around. The Galil dust cover was also much heavier guage stampings than a standard AK.

Marc Krebs will modify your dustcover to use a peep sight, I think he also tries to tighten up the fit of the dustcover.

As far as the scope mounting systems....there's a Scout system that replaces the rear sight assembly with a rail system, and there was talk of somone importing the Polish style scope mounts from a company in Germany, but I haven't seen any yet.
