    Favorite ACOG reticle

I recently bought a 3X TA33 with green crosshair reticle. While the scope is a little heavier than the 4x32 models, the long eye relief and lower magnification make this a much more forgiving optic. I especially like this reticle.

Most of the ACOG reticles seem to "float in space" too much to quickly draw the eye and easily aquire the target. I find that the thick bars on this reticle draw my eye quickly to the center, while the illuminated center locks it on target. Even when the illuminated portion gets washed out, the bars quickly center the optic on target. It also seems to be faster up close than other ACOG reticles, due to the thick bars.

*EDIT* Here's the crosshair reticle and the green horseshoe reticle for comparison. Sorry about the different background color.

    Horseshoe reticle without a doubt.

I've got a horseshoe also, but find this reticle to be much quicker and easier to center on target.

Added a pic of the green horseshoe to the original post for comparison.

I don't mind the red chevron, its what I was issued and become accustomed to. Id like to try the cross hair, that would be interesting.
