Colt spokesman Carlton Chen said the company hasn't announced yet what it will make at the facility, but it won't be "any of the existing products," it makes currently at its Connecticut plant.
I am eagerly awaiting news on just what new products Colt will be releasing...

Interesting that they go to a relatively inexpensive place (taxes etc) from their Union run CT shop for new manufacturing.

    Same thing from Boeing.

Same thing with where all the "foreign" car makers have located their factories in the US.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to more news from Colt.

    Should be interesting.

Maybe colt is looking to introduce a product that is more affordable by shrinking labor cost and taxes.

They should have plopped a plant here in AZ. COLT HATES WESTERN STATES! <--- Lunatic Colt Derangement syndrome... like when they had LE markings on their guns.

The difference is that, as I understand it, the state of Connecticut has a significant ownership position...
