So far I like the mount: it puts the optic at exactly the right height for my eyes. It locks in place in such a way that you have to lift up (read: bend) the lever slightly upward and then it will swivel. I'm not sure how much abuse that can take or if it eventually becomes as loosey-goosey as an AK-type throw lever mount (like on the Belarus made AK scope mounts for example).
Mine came with the optic and IIRC didn't add anything to the price, so in my mind it's worth trying out for a while before I replace it with anything else.

I got a christmas sale email from Brownell's on the H-1 a couple of days ago. You have to use coupon authorization code at checkout 444999 to receive the H-1 LRP mount combo for 499.99.
