NoDak Fully welded Uzi receivers anyone own one??

My dad has been Bugging me on what I want for a christmas Present .he always gets me firearm related items.

I have looked at Building a Uzi, I did this years ago with a Group Ind receiver and a IMI kit I bought from Sarco and me and a friend did the welding it turned out well but I sold it .

I now don't have the means to do the welding myself and was wanting to know if any of you have used or owned or built a UZI using NoDAK fully welded receivers .

Right now they are working on a second batch that should be ready at the end of this Month . I would need to get the rest of the parts and assemble the easy part But they seem to be in spec .

if you have shot or own any of these, what are your thoughts? and if you dont mind please post some pictures of your build before and after would be awesome !thank guys

Built up a post 86 full boogie one, runs very well and the QC on the NODAK receivers is very, very good.

Not yet, been wanting to do a similar build.I also did a Group Industries / Sarco kit build awhile back but sold it when prices went up to twice what I had into it.

Way down my list as I currently have a IMI pre 86 dealer sample. But I want to do a classic wooden buttstock Uzi and I don't see myself buying a second pre86 just to have my interesting variant, especially since semi Uzis aren't as much fun as they look.

But eventually when I have twenty more important things paid for I will do one of these in a gray park finish as a SBR. God knows with all the Uzi mags I'm sitting on I could stand to own one more.

this is good to hear about the quality of the NoDak welded receiver .it took some serious fitting to get the Group Ind to run right But I did the same, I sold it for a Big profit for what i had into it.I plan on going ahead and doing the pre-order.Just something about a Uzi I have always loved and i think it would be a great build.with 9mm being so cheap right now .

Hmmmm... does anyone know if they supplied the Century Uzi receivers?

I was wondering where they sourced them from, but never really looked into it.

I had a problematic Vector Uzi years ago, but might want to give it another go...

from what they told me on the phone when i pre-ordered mine ,these are Not group ind receivers that century used But their own and 100% in spec.very helpful folks all the weld in parts are USA made so that helps with the 922r Now to make a pistol out of it or carbine it and then SBR it down the road

Lots of folks in Uzitalk with typical Century problems regarding function.

Also now that you mention it, there seems to be many varieties of Vector Uzis, some built on Group receivers and others that I think use their own brand.

I can recall glowing reports of earlier full auto Uzis and I can recall some people complaining about issues later on (possibly with the semi autos).

All things considered the Nodak kit build is probably the best cost effective option.
