Raptor CH block gas on a suppressed gun?

I see what looks to be a ridge at the rear but need to make sure before I drop a C note.

    Thanks folks.

It has the ridge that is inherent to CH design, there is no extra raised lip like on the BCM 5.56 model. My Raptor handle is flush across the top surface and does not appear to be any thicker than the stock DD CH that it replaced. The "shelf" where the handle rests against the upper seems to be the same dimension on the Raptor and stock DD as well. Hope that helps.

Mine is not suppressed so I can't comment on gas blowback.

I had to use rtv and then after it dried use a razor to cut it from the upper. It makes a nice seal and helps to greatly reduce the blowback. No, it doesn't have the raised edge.

Are you getting excessive gas blowback AKA gassy face?

It may be better to address the gas directly rather than deflecting it.

With an adjustable gas block. Multiple threads if you search.

^This or a custom small gas port for a dedicated suppressed setup.
