Will the new prices take effect on Jan. 1? Percentage-wise what sort of increases are we looking at?

I was planning on buying a couple of Aimpoints and maybe an EOTech in January/February of 2008 and depending upon the timing and magnitude of the increase I might bump up my plans and buy this month.

Yes on Jan 1. Price increases could be as much as 4%!

I had heard about this and I also heard not just optics manufacturers will be raising their prices.....

ammo, gear, accessories, etc. They keep demanding more and I keep getting poorer. I think theres a glitch in the matrix.

Ammo will be going up.

Reloading components will be going up.

Dillon presses will be going up.

Now optics.

Next it will be weapon and weapon components.

I'm really starting to get pissed at the price of oil and the Chinese demand for metals. Such is life in the new global economy........

I think everything but sand, cholera and locusts will be going up in price next year.

I don't expect anything worth buying to be any cheaper, with the possible exception of homes. Thankfully, I'm pretty well set for optics, but I'll pass the news along to some interested parties.
