    DSA tubes are no good.

I bought one a while back and installed it only to find the lip either engaged the buffer retaining plunger too much where I couldn't index it, or barely at all.

The difference between the thread on a DSA tube compared to the tube I bought from Bravo Company are night and day.

Seeing the world of difference with the quality, I'll never buy a "just as good" part again.

It does not take much searching to see why 7 series AL is much stonger in applications like this than 6 series. Companies use 6 because it is much cheaper. They may look the same and function the same in a range environment, but what happens when you fall down on/step on one? $20 to me is a good sandwich with fries and a beer for lunch, so it's insane for me to not spend the same to build a rifle which will I will likely have for my lifetime up to the specifications it was designed to have. Most things are cheaper for a reason, and it usually has little to do with a name.

I've probably just had too much Kool-Aid though

So the OP's question has been answered.
The OP obtained a quality tube.
Any reason for this thread to remain open?
