I run these in my guns and if memory serves me right, I think they are 5 coil springs.

    Wow! Only $5 from SAW???

I'd figure at least $30 each.

I think BCM has 5 coil springs. I know they're BIG! Freakishly bigger than the Colt OEM with black insert.

The only companies that I am aware of that make them are BCM and Tactical Spring Company.

    We stock both.

The BCM, Tactical Springs and Wolff extractor springs are larger (more coils) than standard 20" AR extractor springs.

I don't have any with me right now to tell you the exact number of coils per each.

Based on the link above to Bravo Co. I'd say that the BCMs are the 5 coil variant.

BCM and Tactical spring co are both 5 coil.

I am talking to Tactical spring co about doing a 4 coil CS spring for us middy/rifle gas system fans.

I just got a bunch in last week from LMT and they are all 4coil springs. Did they always use 4coil springs?

LMT told me that this is their standard. My original one from 4 years ago is 4 coil.
