You find foreign grips that are MORE comfortable than US ones? That's got to be a first. I like the foreign ones just because they are so simple and to the point and in a way nostalgic.

I've sometimes wished I could find a US that LOOKS like Bakelite so I can have the bakelite look and keep it a compliant part.

You brother I never said I found foreign grips more comfy, I just said I liked some of them. I prefer the SAW grip on my bastards.

Not a bad idea (for other projects too) have to try that out.

I put a MAGPUL MIAD on my SAIGA 12 and 106CR feels really good I just had to cut it right. For smaller hands you may have to mod it a bit more.

That is a beauty of a S-12. I never thought about a MIAD for my recent Tromix build.

The stock one is evidently intended for tiny fingers. What do you like in the way of an aftermarket? I'm leaning towards an Ergo

I like the Ergo grip myself and all AR's and my Ak wear them.

I've now changed it out for the SAW grip and greatly prefer that one of the four that I've tried.
