Exclamation QD socket for any plastic shotgun stock, PICS

Had this developed and have finally got around to taking some photos.

Been testing it the last 3 months. Provides a simple solution to add a QD socket to any plastic shotgun stock. Will also work with Magpuls MOE handguards too and fit very flush.

We have run these on our competition Benelli's and it makes slinging a SG alot easier now. Thought some 3 gunners might be interested in seeing these installed.

installing it was pretty easy, Flush QD Mount can be installed in most plastic stocks that are hollow and handguards that have a relatively flat section.
    1) 1/2" hole must be drilled
    2) Material thickness of less than 1/4"
    3) install it!

Photos: (sorry not STICKMAN but I try)

You can't see it in the pictures but the production version has the bottom closed so debris can't get into the stock.

I'd like to try it with a wood stock. I hate the standard SG sling mount. Should be able to drill it out with a forstner bit to control the fit and depth. If screwing it in is less than optimal it could be epoxied, no?

I am super excited for this to come out, I plan to replace an IWC micro mount in my MOE hand guards that I drilled a bit sloppily.

    These are rotation limited correct?

What is the ETA on these?

    Rotation limited, yes.

The first batch is out for finish, they should start shipping early Jan.

The thread pitch is very fine, I would not screw it directly into a wood stock and expect it to hold. Maybe the nut could be modified and epoxied into the stock. You should ask a gunsmith that is familiar with wood stocks, because I am not.

Something to think about. I've been searching for some sort of QD swivel solution so that I can use a VCAS or VTAC with the Hogue Overmolded stock on my little 10-22 TT. I'll have to pull the action/barrel and remove the buttpad to see a) if the stock is hollow and b) how thick it is.

Just in time for my 870 police trade-in project. Kudos for making the socket rotation limited...nobody likes a twisted sling.

I will be at SHOT in the Benelli booth in the mornings doing weak hand reloads and talking three gun along with my team mates so you can stop by while I'm there if you'd like to see one. Never got anything from you on this.
