Relevant 922(r) parts for the APC9 (my educated opinion....could be wrong)

    (1) Receiver, which includes integral fore end.
    (2) Barrel
    (3) trunnion
    (4) Muzzle attachment (naked 3-lug, so not an issue unless you attach an imported muzzle device)
    (5) Bolts
    (6) Operating rods (could this be the cocking handle? Maybe, will count it as such to be safe)
    (7) Trigger housing, which includes integral pistol grip.
    (8) Trigger
    (9) Hammer
    (10) Sear
    (11) Disconnector
    (12) Buttstock
    (13) Magazine body
    (14) Follower
    (15) Floor plate

So that's 5 US parts if you plan to use a muzzle device or 4 without. Add a US FCG and either don't use a muzzle device or use a US muzzle device.

Assuming a semiauto APC9, am I correct that there is no sear?

I missed the trunnion. So the four bolts on either side of the receiver hold it in place? I assumed that since the receiver is machined that the barrel would mount directly to it.

Here's a link to a manual for anyone who was looking for one.

I just read that the APC9 does not use AR15 compatible triggers.

I'd sure like to hear from someone who has attempted swapping out the trigger group. Until then I won't purchase as having the APC9 only as a pistol won't do it for me.

It works with traditional AR FCGs but is not compatible with Geissele FCG. Industry partner arrangements are in the works for additional compatible FCG and accessories. The FA FCG deviates from the standard AR FCG, so nothing other that the B&T factory FA FCG will work. This is a non-issue for civilian guns.

The APC9 has been on my want list but I like to play it safe with regards to 922 and I didn't see how to make it 922 compliant. But thinking about it it probably needs 3 US made parts and a US made FCG would have 3 parts. Yes?

That's the way I see it assuming that there are three pieces in the FCG and you don't attach a foreign fire control part.

The APC9 is compliant with a US FCG. The trigger and sear are one piece in the AR FCG, leaving the hammer and disconnector.

I recently purchased a Pro with the B&T proprietary mags/lower. Besides the trigger, what parts are you guys switching to SBR them. I want to use the B&T folding stock. Will replacing the trigger assembly, grip, and adding a magazine extension (replacing the magazine base plate) get me where I need to be for 922r? Does any other USA companies make parts that will help the count?

Options for the APC 9 Pro lower are:

    Pistol grip
    Hammer
    trigger
    sear
    Disconnector
Buttstock (B&T makes an AR stock adapter)

Geissele is who I used for the trigger replacement. Not sure if they plan on doing a run of them soon or not. Might want to call them.

A few companies make extended floor plates for magazines if that is an issue (Z&R Tactical, Noblesville, IN is the one I know of).

The AR pistol grip is a no brainer.

A Glock lower of course simplifies things with Magpul Glock mags.

Do you have the B&T lower and mags on yours?
