    Right,When i spoke to John from Aimpoint (on Dec 7) he said the M4's that are comeing out now will have loctite on them.

    I guess its time to sell my Eotech 551D.1 and go back to Aimpoint.

    Good call. IMHO I think you will be happer in the long run. Also are you going with an M3 or M4?

    IMO, the rather large price increase with the M4 over the M3 isn't justified at all.

    The M4 does almost nothing the M3 doesn't already do.

    The mount and the battery deal just doesn't do it for me.

    For the guys considering the M4 - if you can wait -- the M4B will be out in the New Year, and its got a few improvements on it.

    Shihan - FWIW - IMHO if your going to use an EO - the 552 and 553 are the only real choices as the 551's are notoriusly bad.

    Paul... I say we hold on awhile longer for the Aimpoint M-7's.......

    Kevin What will the improvements be on the M4B? Will it be worth the 2008 factory price increases?

    The only problem is I already own the 551 but a dist of mine had them CHEAP! So I will sell it and make some money off of the one I have been using. Those evil Ncells leak

    Im perfectly happy with my ML3s.


    The M4 is very nice, but the cost/benefit ratio just isnt there for me.
    NOT in training for combat deployment.
