    IT LIVES!
I fired the upper today on my SBR DPMS lower with a new H buffer and his buffer spring. It ran 100% (no stoppages of any kind) and was generously lubed with Militec-1.

    I shot 120 rounds w/3 different PMAGs (04/07, 06/07 and 10/07 manufacture dates):

    30 rounds of Federal XM193 55gr FMJ
30 rounds of Hornady 75gr TAP
30 rounds of Magtech 55gr FMJ
30 rounds of American Eagle 50gr hollowpoint.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the cheshire Cat, "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're
    mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" asked Alice.
"You must be," said the cheshire Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Is it too late for these?

M4 feedramps are about 7.5 degrees different in angle than rifle feedramps.
The top of the ramps is in the same place.
The steeper angle causes the ramp to cut down into the receiver more.

    Randall,
Robb already shipped my upper back to me, but from what i can tell, (you know with my uneducatedness) he did an amazing job!

If you look at the "Good" M4 pic that you posted, and then look at Robb's "after"
pic of my receiver, and barrel, they look very similar to me!

again, just using my uneducated eyes.

Thanks to everyone here (especially Robb) for helping me resolve this issue!
