    Cheaper to just by the upper and lower seperate and put pin them together when you receive them......just my opinion. You can have a LMT Carbine for less than $1K!

    SBRs aren't that much louder to me either. I wonder if people who say they are much louder have actually heard them side by side.

    My 11.5" isn't really any louder than any 16" I've fired- not to me as the shooter anyway.

    11.5" and 10" ARs are louder to the people around you. If you fire them at indoor range you'll 'feel' and hear them as much louder than 16" guns.

    Here's something interesting though, when my LMT was a 14.5" gun and I ran it suppressed it was louder than when I had it cut down to 10" and shoot it suppressed with the same exact suppressor!

    Yeah, I believe that. Indoors you are more likely to get some backlash from that higher pressure and hotter gas.

    The KX3s are for the benefit of others mostly it seems, right?
