    Hammer pin rotation

I have a complete 1999 Bushy lower (6k rounds on it) and noticed that I can definitely see the hammer pin rotating when cocking the hammer back. How bad is this? Do need to get a .155 KNS anti rotation kit? And should I get this kit for my "in progress" Stag build in order to avoid this issue?

ETA: Are the KNS Heat Treated pins any better than the standard pins that came with my Stag LPK?

It's not bad and is normal for the design.

The KNS anti-rotational pins are good for:

Not rotating on expensive ($10K) registered machine gun lowers preventing wear.

They make the trigger pulls consistent from shot-to-shot since nothing moves, Gen 1 pins are best for this.

They are good when used on blowback ARs like 9mm, 45ACP etc. which is hard on pins and lowers.

    They serve as anti-walk pins.

Thanks. And, I guess, I won't be buying the KNS kit.

I think he was recommending them.

I have them on all my ARs. Its not that i have to protect my receivers, but once the J-pin broke off of the hammer in one of my ARs. The pin walked out during fire and jammed up my AR. It was a pain in the ass getting the upper off.
