    Shooting4life,

Would you mind sharing what kind of mount your Burris is on? I'm trying to do the same thing with a Burris and my 627 PC. That mount doesn't appear to be a rail. Also is that a Fastfire II or III?

    Great looking sidearm!

Finally got around to doing this, I think I'm really going to like shooting it this way.

mkmckinley, thanks for your pictures. I used them to determine the placement of my aimpoint as a starting point. Plus it helped me decide I liked the looks of the setup before I went to the trouble of trying it out.

I tried to sight this beast in yesterday, it's brutal. 4 cylinders full to get it close at 25 yards and can barely get it on paper at 50 yds.

It beat me up. All I had was prvi 240 gr jhp. I need to get some 44 special.

I used a Weigand mount to put a silver H1 on my Mountain Gun. I didn't get very good results, though it looks cool.

It shoots OK with an old Tasco pistol scope on it, but not very handy, so I didn't take it after deer this year.

I may get motivated, trim the front of the mount off even with front of frame, work out the accuracy issues and have a local Kydex Guru build me a suitable rig.
