Go to where you purchased the gun and ask them to give you a copy of the receipt. That should be plenty sufficient for any "decent" gun maker for a warranty claim.
But maybe it's just me...

I have the original reciept. I will give them a call on Monday and see what they say
As others have stated, first thing I would do is get a few more magazines to try.DSG Arms usually has a good deal on a ten pack of USGI mags with Magpul followers. If the Armalite supplied magazine is found to be defective, call their customer service and have them replace it.
I'd also make sure the mag catch has the proper tension. The mag catch threaded shaft should be flush with the top of the threads of the mag release button.
You can download a copy of the TM 9-1005-319-23&P manual here for further details and information:

In regards to your warranty registration, your sales receipt should be good enough, just explain the situation to the rep when you call or email them. Its been my experience that the folks at Armalite are rather easy going and helpful. Also from what I understand the dealer is supposed to submit the warranty registration to Armalite at the time of the sale.Previously the factory assembled Armalite rifles came with a warranty registration card in which you had to fill out and mail in,Im not sure they do that currently...so you might call and verify with the dealer if that was already done.
As a note, according to the notice from Armalite sales they will be short handed this month due to shot show and dealer shows. So don't be shocked if you get a slow response.
Here's the notice.

I would say it's a mag problem -bent feed lip sending the round at a weird angle where it struck the reciever and pushed the bullet back. Hard to see in your pics but those feed ramps don't look good either- not a smooth transition. Get another mag and like has been said try it again if the problem goes away then you know it was the mag. Probably a good thing that bullet didn't feed into the chamber bullet setback is not good!![]()
is there any way to make the feed ramps flush with each other that i can do in my home? Or is that something i should let a gunsmith do
If there is anything out of whack on the rifle I'd send it back to Armalite as soon as possible and let them fix the issue. You paid for a properly built rifle, and they should have to make it so.
That way if something gets screwed up its on their dime. You make a mess trying to fix it will end up on your dime.
Armalite guarantee's no manufacturer defects in material or workmanship even on individual components...use the warranty.

Would you please tell us what you have done thus far to solve the issue? Have you tried any of our suggestions?
I highly doubt that the feedramps are the issue. Unless there is something seriously wrong. Can you not post a pic of them?
