Only thing on the Leupold Mark 6 so far.

Military Times vid link w/Kyle Lamb.

I'm hoping there will be some more info in the coming days. Daylight illum. and $1500 would look really good even if the glass isn't as good as the Swaro.

I noticed today that Trijicon has a battery-powered ACOG on their website. Additionally, the 9 MOA dual-illum RMR now has amber and green squares under the picture on the RMR page, but no info on a green dot model on the product page. I hope my hunch is right, I have been waiting for a dual-illum RMR in a color other than amber for over a year.

Some variation of a CMR, either 5.56 or 7.62, or the standard TMR.

It would be nice if it had the same "squeeze-to-adjust" turrets as the Mark 8, but I don't think it does. Has a zero stop though so it wouldn't be bad using the TMR.

Trijicon had prototype TARS 3-15x FFP scope with aimpoint bright illumination, great glass, superb reticle. Undoubtedly the battery will last years, like on their other LED products. If they transport that technology over to a 1-5x scope, that would be something to see.

The battery powered ACOG was super sharp, pretty much addressed every complaint anyone has had with their fiber optic style illumination.

Trijicon also had a dual illuminated RMR with a green dot, which was pretty cool.

The 1-6x VX6 and MK6 scopes from leupold are going to set the standard, extremely good illumination via an aimpoint style dot, not sure what the battery life is though.

Trijicon what the hell is their problem. We ask for an improved 1-4 or 1-6 accupoint. Mind you its not a small group asking for this its huge and they bring us a freaking cross bow ACOG and put more money into updating an obsolete design (battery powered ACOG). All I have to say is what the hell?

The TARS is on their website with a $3990 MSRP. WTF is wrong with these companies?

I guess everyone is trying to get a sugar daddy DOD contract now or something while pricing their products out of 95% of people's reach or price point.

I hear ya, but it's trijicon man, I've learned to expect phenomenal technology and reliably lackluster execution. Only aimpoint has illumination technology on their level.

The most reliable complaint about aimpoints are from people with astigmatisms and others worried about EMP knocking out their dot. They could make an etched 1x fiber optic or LED ACOG that would own that market. Instead for some reason they're still making 1.5x ACOGs and crossbow technology. I wasn't all that impressed with the SRS, if the electronics fail, you're sh*t out of dot. They already make that, it's called an aimpoint, I own them, and they stay on longer than the SRS indoors.

They should be making specterDR style ACOGs too. I can't imagine people would buy the elcans if Trijicon made something that did the same thing but stayed on for 3 years.

So I was under the impression that the MK6 was going to be $1500.
This vid seems to challenge that.
