John, your AK collection continues to amaze me.

Who built that one? Is that the Troy at InRange build?

    Thanks Paul!

Yes, Troy Sellars of In Range did an excellent job on this one. It started out as a low cap Slovakian reciever, using the specs of an original VZ 58, he has two, he milled out the mag well to factory spec and built the rifle from an original VZ 58 kit. It shoots Great and handles well, I do love the VZ 58

How much? Up here in Canada, we can buy VZ58's (semi only, obviously) for about $500.

I had one, and found it to be a nice weapon, but rather unremarkable. Better than an SKS, no doubt... but I prefer an AR!!!

I've never held or fired an AK... it's odd - we get SOME good toys up here, but AK's are prohibited... why? They look scary.

Either way, you guys get 30rd mags - we get 5 ONLY... hence one of my reasons for selling it... what fun is a 5 round mag with cheap ammo?
