Excellent, now if they would stop advertising that X-Mark Pro trigger like it's a good thing...

I kind of wondered about that...
I like the idea of this gun though. Seems like a great FL hog gun to me. and if you have the money for a dedicated can for it you can just direct-thread the thing on which would be even better. Depending on how that $800 MSRP translates into street price, of course.
Robert, with a can on this gun would something like the impending Barnes be hearing safe?

What's with the hate on the X-Mark. It's not a bad trigger with a little work. At least, not for me. (Flamesuit ON!)
The problems with the Xmark are inconsitency and in most cases the inability to get the break below 3-4 lbs.
Even the guys who have been able to get it to lighten up don't get consistent breaks.
Coming from a USGI type AR trigger, I thought the X mark wasn't too bad at first. Then when I started to be able to see my reticle move at distance when I dry fired it, I replaced it... I basically perceived it to be a better trigger than it ever was.

Good concept and I'm glad 300 BLK is expanding in the market but I will never understand why Remington insists on selling rifles with stocks that need to be thrown in the garbage and replaced before the rifle is ready for use. Hogue needs to go away.
After a little work on my X mark trigger, I put it on a trigger pull scale. I did about 10 trigger pulls and the pull ranged from 4.5 to 5.5 pounds. It was never consistent.

Why do they have to put anything on it? If they don't want to inventory various high quality stocks to give customers a choice of what the customer wants, then they should offer it as a complete barreled action at a reduced price and let us buy our our own stock if we don't want the crummy Hogue.
