Any chance you could post a pic of the TMR reticle illuminated at 1x outside in the bright daylight? Thanks!

So is it true that the tmr version looks like a red dot on 1x? Does it have the same illumination issues as the other reticles?

I'm really close to getting a mk6 lol

Read this thread .. it explains the illumination pretty well on the MK6.

Don't expect Aimpoint , Swarovski , S&B illumination on the Mark 6. It washes out and if you want to use it on 1x as a RDS like optic I feel you're better off looking elsewhere.

yes and no. i have the tmr version.

if your lined up right, it works pretty good acting like a red dot, but its not going to be like an aimpoint. the illumination issue isnt really an issue, its the way the scope is made, something to do w/ the LED's leupold told me.

my biggest gripe w/ the tmr is it covers your target a lot when zoomed in. im a guy who is use to simple crosshairs w very little clutter so its taking me some time to get use to. for close up stuff it works great. im still not really sold on FFP scopes, but again im still getting use to it.

the reticule is very fine on 1x, thats where i like having the illumination on for 50yds or less.

if you want more of a red dot, look at the vx6 1-6
