    We made the M249 barrel. It was for fun and because we could not for the military.

    Ill give my 2 cents the 300 whisper wildcat has been around for a while. And was a fairly popular wild cat for the AR platform before AAC legitimized it. Coupled with the popularity of suppressors [well there you go]. The 6.8 could possible have blown up as much but Remington ass ****ed it by screwing up the chamber print [ala spec II chamber]. Yrs after the the initial hype of the chambering had passed .
