Best Rem 870 extension tube and mount for X300?

I've got a REALLY nice Remington 870 Special Field that is about 25 years old. It has an 18 1/2 barrel and nice checkering in the wood stock. Not "tacticool" at all. I want to make this my HD SG but would like to add a magazine extension tube and a SureFire X300 light.
So my question is which make and model is the best magazine extension for the 870? Don't want the extension to extend beyond the barrel.
What is the best way to mount the X300? I've seen the clamps that mount between the magazine tube extension and barrel - is the best way and which brand is recommended?

So far I've found this Wilson extension tube and have heard its good? Can my 18 1/2 barrel could handle a +3 extension without the mag extension protruding past the barrel?
Still need to find a good mount for the X300.

    Appreciate the feedback.

How do these compare with the Wilson Extension. Any thoughts on mounting the X300? I've looked at the CDM clamps with the rail - but haven't found much feedback.Thanks.

try a nordic +2 with the extra large nordic cap. it can give give you three rounds just short of the length of a 18.5" barrel. for the light, im testing a GG&G forend with the rail at 3oclock with a tlr 1s mounted on it. however you wont get to keep your wood furniture. as far as i know there arent really any options that put the light within reach without a tape switch.

I love the Wilson Combat +2 on my 870, lines up pretty square with the 18.5" barrel. As far as mounting a X300, I would maybe consider this http://www.sgcusa.com/shotgun-access...l-rem-870.html

Would be interested in taking the wood stock and forearm off your hands.

If you haven't solved your problem yet, you could also try the forearm from GG&G. It has a section of rail on the side so you can mount your light and have it accessible to you at all times.
