    I too have one, A Premier Custom II, can't say a single negative thing about it. It has run perfectly wet, dry, clean or dirty. Even with a couple crappy Kimber mags I wanted to test in it. Personally love the gun. Serious tack driver as others have stated.

    I have two Les Baer Custom 1911s, a Stainless Stinger and a blued Premier II. They are great 1911s!

    I have a Thunder Ranch Special and it runs like a locomotive. Lovely pistol. I just wish it had 20 lpi checkering on the frame like my TRPs...

    Addendum

    I threw out the tight as Hades barrel bushing and took a lapping compound to the slide:frame to loosen the damned thing. Still accurate - perhaps not as much as with the original bushing (I think I'll re-install it for a bit) - with no issues when fouled. At least not yet.
