G2 LED Bezel Diameter

Just an observation that I need to have confirmed or denied.

I purchased a Surefire G2 LED and noticed that my filters (Surefire Red and Blue, flip style, F26 & F27) that previously fit on my G2 DO NOT fit on the G2 LED model. It appears as if the G2 LED's bezel is a hair smaller in diameter. Is this a valid observation, or is this an anomaly? I only have one LED version to look at and compare with so I would like to have some input, if possible. Much thanks!

I answered on 10-8 as well

I just measured both of mine:

G2 - 1.267"
G2 LED - 1.249"

Looks like the new aluminum bezel is slightly smaller?
