Next purchase Scar 17 or NV setup?

What do you guys think? Im looking to either buy a new scar or nv setup (pvs 14 night enforcer from tnvc). A 308 sounds good right now but a gen3 night vision would be sweet to have for many reasons as well.

That depends on what you already have and what needs you are trying to fill. If it were me with what I have, I would go for the 14's (I want some so bad I can't stand it)by but it is an easy choice for me since I have a SCAR 17.

Depends on what you're after. I'd get the PVS to round out a complete weapon system. You're going to need an ir laser as well. Not to make an assumption but 5 different rifle platforms and no gear if ever needed won't do you any good. A rifle platform, a pistol platform, practical gear for it, training and practice to be proficient with it.

Thanks for the replies. Ive been leaning towards the 14 for those reasons. I already have 2 ar platform rifles, adding a 308 would mean adding another caliber to my guns. Im thinking i could wait until i could afford a 308 precision rifle to go with the scar. As for ir laser and theres a new dbal d2 that tnvc was introduced at shot show heres a link
