Michaels machines. I believe he uses a PTR and rolls his own flats. When I first got it I asked for a refund. Had canted front sight, couldn't zero it even with maxed out windage/elevation, and it didn't run. The top pic rail was out of spec - couldn't use a geissele mount for instance. After a year of shipping it back and forth and some big arguments with Otte on subguns, he finally built a whole new receiver. That was January this year, and I got it back last week. Still doesn't run, although the front sight is straight and the pic rail is in spec.

I have tested it a bunch since getting it back and videoed all of it, and now he's replacing the whole feed (a couple pins fell out of it on video while shooting).

The main issue is that the bolt carrier is smashing the next round down onto the feed lever as it goes rearward, and it crushes the case neck/bends the bullet out of alignment, so it can't be chambered. Sometimes it won't feed the first round of the belt either. This happens quite often.

You should have had him build on an HK receiver using a donor rifle.

Hindsight is 20/20, but if you want an all German parts kit 21/23e then TSC is the best builder to do it. It would also cost over twice as much, and the mm23e is already more expensive than some transferables despite being a title 1.

Yea Mike and Tammy Woodward are very good people and Mike is one of the best in the industry easily when it comes to HK roller lock guns. But yes the parts kit for that would be hella expensive before it comes to him even building it.

Still though what was the MM gun, like 12 to 14 grand? That's a shit load to spend on a gun that doesn't work.

I actually need to go back to TSC hopefully in the next few weeks. He has a mp5-sd build off a parts kit and a 94 waiting for its stamp to show up(along with a new kac mp5sd can for it).

Too bad this thing has turned about to be a complete turd. It's going on two years now and almost every part has been replaced by the maker, and it still won't run.

Such a beautiful gun. Sorry to hear about that.

Trump Money finally came in. What caliber did your check come in?

I'll likely never afford a "real" HK, but I do seem to keep circling back to their clones.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

If that is a PTR, you can probably call that a contract rifle.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.
