AG3F2 "inspired" rifle based on an Atlantic Arms-exclusive PTR-91GIR.
I say inspired because the rail is welded on, rather than being a B&T bolt-on rail (although that's probably an upgrade), plus the AimPoint Micro (instead of a CompM4), Magpul handstop (instead of an H&K-branded copy of the KAC VFG), and the SureFire 3P flash hider (instead of the factory H&K flash hider) and SureFire Scout light in an IWC Thorntail SBR (instead of ???)....
The T-1 is in an Aimpoint QD low-mount, but it's not quite low enough to co-witness. Not so high that it's ridiculous, but not low enough to co-witness.
The SureFire Scout light as mounted is perfectly positioned to be far enough back to clear the handguard retaining pin, but not so far back as to interfere with either the manipulation of the light or the charging handle.
The selector on these guns does rotate down to 'F', but 'F' does not give you a giggle-switch. Combined with how "loose" the selector is, it's pretty easy to flip the switch just past 'E' (not that that's the end of the world, because the 'F' is simply another 'E').
The paddle magazine release is - to me - a huge improvement over the previous models I've had, which have only had the HK91/CETME/early-G3 push button magazine release.
The whole weapon is surprisingly (to me) well-balanced, but makes both my AK and my AR (with a medium contour stainless steel barrel and 15" Geissele SMR) seem light.
Once I find a clip&pin steel trigger housing and pick up a steel cocking tube end cap, I'll rattlecan it. If I can find somebody down the road to machine the NO "forward assist" serrations on the bolt carrier, I'll do that, too.
