5.00 per gallon gas come soon to a station near you

Glen Beck predicted this 2 1/2 years ago, with the fact that we the people will not be able to sustain this kind of cost for a extended period of time.

Many Economists, are agreeing that this number is the breaking point.

That's around 40.00 per tank more for me in a 06 Dodge truck. Do the math for your rig and see what the extra dollars will be right out of your budget.

Gas at 5.00 per gallon will expodite or inflate costs of everything we eat as well.

Looks like more folks are gonna be walking or bicycling to and from the stores.

If you don't have a concealed carry permit now is the time. your gonna need your gun with more exposure to the riff raff who already walk the streets.

Here's another source that is not Glenn Beck:

"American motorists have seen the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline rise above $3.50 a gallon on just three occasions, but it has never happened this early in the year. Analysts say it's likely a sign that pain at the pump will rise to some of the highest levels ever seen later this year."

"This definitely sets the stage, potentially, for much higher prices later this year," said Brian L. Milne, refined fuels editor for Telvent DTN, a commodity information services firm. "There's a chance that the U.S. average tops $4 a gallon by June, with some parts of the country approaching $5 a gallon."

Every year they claim 'highest' ever. I'm saying its a hoax like every year to stimulate fear to drive prices

We are paying 3.80/4 out here and its 4+ for diesel. We are much closer to $5.00 than we are to the days of $0.90~ (1998).

How is the cost of fuel changing your driving habits?

It will happen eventually. Inflation, growing worldwide demand, and the fact that most of the new reservoirs are more expensive to produce. Anyone that says it won't doesn't know what they're talking about. Anyone that claims they can tell you when it will happen doesn't know what they're talking about either.

The fact that the Alaskan pipeline is pumping about 60% water just to keep the pressure up should be a clue. If they don't allow drilling in ANWR soon, it will become a rusty relic and we'll see another price bump.

Winter vehicle: 17 gallon tank, so $85 to fill. 15mpg, 255mi range, 33.3 cents per mile.

Summer vehicle: 10 gallon tank, so $50 to fill. 40mpg, 400mi range, 12.5 cents per mile.

Sure wish I could afford to live somewhere warm and drive the summer vehicle year round.

    gas

not that I don't see trouble ahead, but Im guessing that 5 bucks a gallon wont be a big deal. Not that it wont put some pain in our pockets and increase food prices, etc. But I was recently in the Balkans and the cost of fuel in that part of the world once you convert in from liters and euros is about 8 bucks a gallon. Do more folks walk, of course. Ride bikes, of course. However life keeps going at least for awhile, who knows when it could happen. But I submit to you all that shits not going to hit the fan and the walls come falling down at 5 bucks a gallon. I would guess not even 8 bucks a gallon, I would think things will get much worse, much much worse. I hate to say that because it sounds crazy, but i think it may.

who knows maybe im way, way off. I really like Glen Beck so i keep an eye on his show as often as I can and read the blaze. the tide of change is indeed coming faster than i prefer.

God bless and guide America and God bless you all.

We would already be well past there if not for the general economic collapse which has driven demand down, a couple of times, into 1990's level.

$4.00 a gallon is was the trigger for the mortgage meltdown. People could not afford the extra $200 a month out of their budget. $5.00 will cause the urban zombies to 'riot' at even more convenience stores/gas stations.
