What's a Quality Bag?

I have 2 Alice packs with frames I got off ebay for 15 bucks a piece. I also have a 3 day pack from LAPG http://www.lapolicegear.com/diplomat...backpack1.html I can tell you now I ran that LAPG bag for a few long range trips and also some all day family outings and it sucked. For weight distribution it was pretty much a scale of 0. It may have been my fault as I did have A LOT of crap packed into it. Not to say the bag isn't made tough though. It's a great bag and it's pretty big for the price. I will use it for a normal 3 day pack maybe filled with some clothes and basics. What kind of weight are you guys running in most of these packs you are speaking of? I would like to try some of the Maxpedition ones.
