I just recovered from a 2 day pistol course where I got a blistered glock knuckle. Remove dead skin and irrigate with hydrogen peroxide several times a day to kill infection. You will get infection otherwise. Neosporin was useless. At night I put a great moisturizer on the wound called aquifor and bandaids. You could use petroleum jelly as well. This keeps the would moist and skin flexible.
I intend to get batting gloves for day long shooting sessions. One or two hours bare is ok but two days with multiple presentations etc is brutal on the hands.
