As I posted earlier I purchased a G43 as a supplement to my trusty old G30. I ended up carrying it more and more, enjoying the lightweight and inconspicuous nature of it. A couple weeks ago I was in my LGS and came across a G43x LNIB for $400. Hmmm, okay, I couldn’t resist the temptation so it followed me home. The rain broke long enough last weekend for me to try it out. I did my usual- 50 rounds slow fire at 15 yards to get the feel of it. Then I ran multiple failure drills from 5-25 yards along with shooting some steel out to 40 yards. The pistol was very easy and fun to shoot and accurate to boot. I put the Ghost Inc. +4 extensions on a couple of the magazines and left the others stock and all functioned flawlessly. It’s become my new EDC and my 25+ year old G30 will be relegated to my woods/camping gun. Glock has a winner in these slimline models.
