I hope it will not cause offense for me to say that the London stuff is essentially race riots. The Mosaic society / multiculturalism does not work. Those who feel marginalized (in this case black people from Africa) act out. We could get the same in the USA, but I think it would be limited like Hurricane Katrine or the Rodney King riots.

But if the welfare checks stop, look out! Thanks to Section 8 housing, those who are useless to society (i.e., the cradle to grave welfare class) who will go bananas now live among us. I urge everyone to know where the Section 8 housing is in their area so that that threat can be identified in advance.

The 2000 election is not the topic here but OK. Technically, yes. However, I never said he didn't win in the end. It's also not my job to educate you in US history. Do your own homework and use multiple, non-partisan sources. I will refer you to Bush v. Gore and the official record of the 2000 election, to get you started and I leave you with one question: How can we know the results of any election if all of the legal votes are not counted?

I dont doubt the possibility of race riots being the catalyst, but once it happens dirt balls of all races will join in the mayhem.

I watched some of the footage from the London riots today and I saw people of all races and sexes tearing all kinds of shit up and throwing whole bottles, chairs and pipes at police.

That behavior is disturbing as all hell. Not to mention it gives me a major case of the red ass.

As for the dictator quote.. you're listening to the spin. here is the transcript of the relevant quote.

Apparently, sarcasm IS dead. If you watch the actual speech on video, the joking tone in the President's voice is plainly obvious. So, NO, President Obama is not trying to be a dictator. I heard the same charges from the left when Bush was in office. "He's trying to take over... The sky is falling... etc." The present Commander in Chief is a natural born, American citizen, duly elected by the States and the Electoral College (as opposed to a 5-4 vote in the Supreme Court.) Anyone who believes the contrary is in need of a real tin-foil-hat. You don't have to agree with the policies of certain politicians but trying to undercut the other side's argument by simply dismissing them as "un-American," is intellectually dishonest.

Why do libs feel that they need to interject their BS into everything that we do? They are more concerned with the actions of others then their own. Hypocrisy runs ramped amongst them. They will be the first ones to denounce guns, yet they all have armed body guards………that is fair. You do not see me hanging out on an ACLU forum and TRYING to sharp shoot everything that they say. I learned at an early age that there are two types of people that you should never have an argument, decision, or debate with; the crazy and the stupid. It is impossible to win because they do not follow the rules of common sense. Sharing information is great. Just make sure it is relevant. No matter what you think you can not be a progressive that supports gun rights and freedom……it is like being a priest that is atheist. It is a contradiction in terms. If you just enjoy being the “odd man out” for the sake of doing it then you might want to rethink some stuff.

I too feel that the topic “Are you prepared for mass civil disobedience?” should be re-opened. I understand that there are a few threads that are redundant but that one I feel has evolved into a very educational one.

Obama is a socialist as much as any one, who supports the military, fire department, police department, schools, hospitals electricity, water and roads. Socialist projects by definition, every single one.

Opposing Abortion While Paying For An Abortion; Condemning Homosexuality While Practicing Homosexuality; Illicit Drug Sourcing (Rush); Obstruction of Justice (Nixon); No New Taxes (Bush). There's a lot more.

Webster's defines progressive as: "favoring or advocating progress, change, improvement, or reform, as opposed to wishing to maintain things as they are, especially in political matters..." By this definition, every member of the Tea Party is a progressive. Chew on that one for a while.

I'm not here to stir the pot, as it were. I will step up to correct an obvious factual error. And the fact is, I am a progressive AND a shooter. A pretty damn good one to. Posts are out of order. So My question was, What is your local government plan for an official "Declaration of Emergency." Most locals have their heads up their collective asses. File a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request with your county and get their plan. Base yours around what they'll do, or try to.) Where is the water? Food? Medical Evac site? Extraction routes? Support agencies? Guard units nearby? Which ones?
