Very interesting, i wonder if we could one day make our own custom polymer pistol frames.
When I mentioned legal battles I was thinking more along the line of people whipping up their own Magpul AFG's or any damn thing that's copy written. Kind of like fake Gucci purses. And I'm sure once the technology reaches certain levels just like all things criminals will find ways to take advantage of it. I'm Mr. Mexican Cartel kingpin, the ATF quit supplying me so I'll whip up a bunch of lowers. Way down the pipe line maybe ?? Yes. Inevitable though ?? I think so.
I just think this is the next big game changer. Technology is crazy.
Mr. Drug Cartel replicating lowers? Nope. He'll figure out a way to make novelties using cocaine & binder for easier smuggling. If Mr. Drug Cartel really wanted lowers, he could just get a CNC machine.
When they can figure out how to combine this with MIM, they'll really have something. If they figure out how to use a variety of materials, it could be a big leap in reloading. Might even drive the cost of caseless ammo to something affordable

We have a Dimension at work, however, its much quicker to just make one from aluminium on the mill. Go buy a cheap used mill on on craigslist and start cranking them out.
