The guy at S&W that thought of chambering .357 magnum in a 12 oz, 1 7/8" barrel J frame revolver, is both a moron, and a genius.

Yeah I can not shoot magnums w/o having my hand shake for hours after. Following qualification I had to investigate a car crash. I remember trying to figure out why I couldn't write. I stopped and looked at my hand it was shaking like crazy. Most of my shooting with it is done with .38's. The cylinder release cuts my thumb too!
Any of you guys have a Smolt? Shot one for the first time a few weeks ago. We had a retired FBI agent qualify with us. He carried it in the late 70's early 80's? Any error in the time frame is mine. I don't remember that part of the story. And for a guy in his early 70's he could shoot!

Does anyone actually believe that the Founders were sitting around in John Adams' tavern UNARMED because they believed a bar should be a gun free zone?
